Our Mission

Helping the Black community cultivate freedom through mental, physical, and financial evolution.

Where It All Started

Proud Capitalist was born from a deeply personal place — from conversations with family elders, and from the memory of two people who shaped everything: my grandparents, Nathaniel and Edith, born in Virginia in 1917 and 1923 respectively.

Growing up as Black people in the South during some of the most turbulent decades in American history, their worldview was shaped by what they saw, what they survived, and what they were told was possible for people who looked like them. And like so many in their generation, their greatest limitation wasn't opportunity — it was mindset. They believed that wealth was simply not attainable for them, and so they never gave themselves the chance to reach for it.

That realization hit hard. Because it wasn't just Nathaniel and Edith. Talking to other elders in the family, the same pattern emerged — brilliant, resilient people who had been conditioned to believe that financial freedom wasn't meant for them.

That's the wound Proud Capitalist was created to heal.

Why We Exist

We exist to interrupt generational patterns of financial limitation in the Black community. Not by ignoring history — but by using it as fuel.

Our grandparents and great-grandparents built this country with their hands, their backs, and their brilliance. It's time we build wealth with the same energy. Mental wealth. Physical wealth. Financial wealth. All three are connected, and all three are possible.

Ross — Founder, Proud Capitalist LLC

Ross started Proud Capitalist not as a business idea, but as a calling. Inspired by the stories of his grandparents and driven by a desire to see his community thrive in ways previous generations were denied, he built Proud Capitalist as a platform for transformation.
